I haven't been painting much lately (other than plein air on Tuesdays and portraits on Fridays) and so this is another painting uncovered while rummaging through my stacks of old paintings. I like the colors, but I would sure move the tomato away from the edge if I were to paint this again. 8 X 10 oil on canvas $120 unframed

German Wine Jug

ReplyDeleteThanks, Celeste. I think were I to paint this now, I wouldn't treat the colors differently, but in addition to moving the tomato I hope I would paint a bit more freely.
